A Note from Father Clare Hendricks

I had promised some email addresses.

The first is to the encyclical Mediator Dei by Pope Pius XII which gives the theology of the Liturgy, which at that time was the Traditional Mass, http://www.ewtn.com/LIBRARY/encyc/p12media.htm and it forms the foundation for the interpretation of the Vatican II Document on the Liturgy, Sacrosanctum, Concilium.

The instruction of the Congregation on Divine Worship written when the Latin Mass was said gives the norms for participation.

There is also a website from the diocese of Knoxville, The Knoxville Latin Mass Society, where you can download the propers for the upcoming Sunday. Other information is available at the site. For Sunday's propers, click Cleveland Propers. That site lists the other Latin Masses in the state. http://www.uvknox.org/

Una Voce Orange County has the propers for the year 2008 and previous years at: http://uvoc.org/Propers.html
